      I never liked it before Atkins. Obviously I dont eat it now anyway.

      My dad loves fruit cake however.

              yeah.. there's green things... usually it's either cherries that are colored green.. just for the effect... or sometimes that citrus stuff....also artificially colored...

                    my Mom (I just called her) said the green is usually candied cherries.. or candied pineapple...

                      I liked fruit cake, and they are colored, candied cherries or pineapple. I like mince pie too.

                        Could also bee greenfood colored dried papaya or watermelon rind pickle? Anyway it must be true those fruit cakes last forever: Grandmother had some in her freezer - brother ate it when we were cleaning out her apartment after she passed - it was dated 1979

                          Yea, and they do make green maraschino cherries, so that could be it! they are a very unnatural shade of green! ICK
