        Sorry Tommy, I was getting stabbed at the hospital, again. Hope your day went well though.

        BC.... Im bad, I weigh daily. It keeps me honest with myself. My weight fluctuates daily and I know that and it doesnt affect me. I just have a need to know. (control freak anyone?) If you can weigh weekly, pick one day that will be your weigh in day and go with it. Eventhough I weigh daily, only my Mondays weight counts. If you are on induction and can wait those 2 weeks, do it!

        10/03/06- Im in a size 14 jean!!!!
        (Modified OWL-moving up rungs for convenience when travelling, keeping carbs moderate)

        Black beans.- instant headache and upset belly.
        spaghetti squash mixed with tomatoes- ravenous


        I Made it!!!! TWICE!!!! (10/06 and 1/07!!!)

          Hello there! ...I see you're all hanging in there & doing well
          (I was here before) then went away somewhere eccept my weight didn't
          go anywhere!.. I can't seem to get beyond the first week..Maybe I should try
          different menu's, as I seem to get very tired of just the meat & egg's.

          It's nice to be back & I look forward to seeing you all again!

            Zoe, if you're only eating meat & eggs, no wonder you can't stick with it!!! No one would be able to. That's not Atkins.

            Go to this site and look at the sample menus and recipes http://users3.ev1.net/~fontlady/....THAT'S what you should be eating. With MINIMUM 3 cups of vegetables for the first two weeks only. Then you should be adding MORE vegetables, then dairy (i.e. yogurt, cottage cheese, ricotta, etc.) then nuts, then berries, then beans, then other fruits, etc.!!!

              Goodmonday morning guys!!!

              I have to share my good news with folks that understand..... I discovered on saturday that nearly all my panties were too big! so I set out yesterday to go skivvies shopping. no panties that I liked but I found a fabulous new bra. in a 38DD wooooooohoooooooo I was a 44DDD when I started Atkins in January! I was a 36 in high school so I have a feeling that Im not going to be losing weight from my chest anymore and thats fine, I like it where its at. Now from my chest down needs to catch up withme!

                Good morning, everyone! A beautiful gloomy Monday it is in Southern California! It looks like it could rain, but it probably won't - the weather likes to tease me like that!

                Bella - I just just just put my scale in the closet for 2 whole weeks. I need to break my addiction with those numbers! Realistically, I think weighing once a week is a good standard. Our weight flucuates so much day-to-day and over the course of a day that we can make ourselves insane with the ever changing numbers. Want to join me on a 2 week scale ban? Could be entertaining! I will next weigh in on Monday, June 26.

                CSZoe - post one of your menus for us to see! If you aren't eating veggies, you definitely will get bored as dirt! Also, check out http://users3.ev1.net/~fontlady/ for great recipes! I'm very very fond of the spinach lasagna. I make it about 2 times a month and alternate it for lunch and dinner.

                Tired - WOOHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I completely understand your joy! I went shopping this weekend and am about 1" away from a size 12. It really is the best pick-me-up, isn't it?!?! A 38DD from a 44DD is a big transition! Your back must be feeling a difference as well, yes? Congratulations!

                                Zoe, I'm glad you found some more ideas for menus. You should be eating on this plan food fit for a KING! Lots of delicious stuff. There is a recipe for Green Enchilada chicken on there that is awesome! Lots and lots of great stuff! I encourage you to try new foods...and old ones you thought you didn't like. I've been trying stuff and finding new favorites!! It's amazing how your taste buds change over the years.
