WOW, did anyone watch Texas Ranch House on PBS last week. If not, make sure you try to watch it when it is replayed. They had some 21 Century folks go live on a 19th Century Ranch House, and they had folks playing cowboys, and a family that played the part of the ranch owners. The husband was henpecked, the cowboys hated the family, folks quit, got fired, walked off the set, etc.
Don't watch the episode about the flys. It was sickening.

Oh, me too, that was great. And then they had the colonial one, right? That was the one Oprah even went and visited. Will have to check out this new one that Deserthorn is talking about.

I watched it and I was disappointed with the Cooke family---let an entire garden go to waste while complaining about starving!

When Mr. Cooke said something like "So there were carrots!". I was screamming at the tv "Yeah. Whaddya know? Carrots don't all come in cellophane bags!"

Mr. Cooke not wanting to negotiate for Jared's release by the Comanches was horrible too. And they way he inflated the prices of his horses---disgusting!
