Brook - I am so sorry to hear about your loss. It is so very tragic. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your children. Hold on to all the memories - they are very precious!
Oh Brook.... I can't even imagine the depth of grief you and your children are suffering right now. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this very sad time.
You and your family have my prayers, Brook. Try to remember that we grieve for our loss, but we rejoice in the fact that your husband is now enjoying his eternal reward, and that you WILL see him again someday. I'm sure he will be watching over you and the kids as they grow and as you begin to go on with your life. Just remember that while we don't know what's around the corner, God does. Trust in Him and He will guide you along the way. God bless you and yours always...

Brook, I'm so sorry. I lost my husband in a car accident September 1996. My stepdaughter was 9 years old at the time. It's a tough time for a child. My prayers go out to your children.
A friend of mine went through your exact situation several years ago...it was a motorcycle accident and they had some of the same marital woes that you've been going through. I remember her anguish at the time.
Be strong.

Brook, my heart is broken for you. I can only sit here and cry and pray that the Lord sends you and your young family comfort in this tragedy. Just take one moment at a time. Please know that you are being lifted up in prayer and just let the love of the Lord wash over you and carry you through. "He will feed his flock like a shepherd. He will carry the lambs in his arms, holding them close to his heart. He will gently lead the mother sheep with their young." Isaiah 40:11
Love and prayers,
Sue
Things this week have been a blur, but I wanted to check in and let you all know what's been going on. You're part of my heart.
Monday night my husband was killed in a motorcycle accident. It happened at approximately 10:15pm in Princeton, Minnesota.
Our children are 14, 10, and 6 years old. They are touch and go so far as how they're handling everything, but children are the most amazing creatures on the planet and they continue to teach and inspire me when I step back and look at things through their eyes.
My babies will grow up without their daddy, and I can't even begin to tell you how broken my heart is. Sammy-Jammy keeps calling her daddy's voicemail just to hear his voice.
I've asked several people to write down memories of my husband for the girls so that I can put it away for them. I want them to know their father through other people's eyes, and make it easier for them to remember who he was.
Services will be held on Monday, May 22nd.
Please, say a prayer for the children.
Peace, love, and light.
~Brook
My Dad died when I was 12, I can totally relate to your kids. Having a memory book is an awesome Idea.
I also had a great Mom, Just like you! She became Mom and dad.. Your kids will be fine. They will struggle on special holidays or places but it will ease with time...
I'm always at a loss for words at times like these. I'm so sorry to hear about your loss.
Condolences. You'll be in our thoughts and prayers.
