    Inappropriate Adverts

    A plea from me to any of you that spot any advertisements on ADBB which you feel are innapropriate. Eg. Weight Loss Pills, any "get thin quick" schemes or any other things that are frowned upon here.

    If you see any of these, please can you pm Tom, Bren, Kent or Myself (richt) with the shortcut to the offending site.

    We do have to opportunity to add certain sites to a "banned" list, so that they are not shown on the board.

    The last thing we want to happen is for us to lose our members over something like this.

    Please help if you can.

            And I don't think much of the try the Biggest Loser Diet ad - they want you to (a) go low fat/low cal; and (b) pay them $19.98 a month for the privelege!

                personally I think you are pisssing on a forest fire Rich...once you let that crap in here you are going to be fighting it forever...but what the helll do I know anyway??? the bottom line is the money it brings in and they are still popping up ...so as Mogs says just keep clicking on them ..what ethical difference does it make anyway if it is all about the bottom line?

                good luck at getting rid of them now that you let them in!

                    The biggest problem is they are google ads, which I believe try to be context sensitive. So ads on a weight loss support site are going to be geared around weight loss. And as we all know most weight loss schemes are just gimmicks to make people money. So removing ads one at a time is just puting your finger in a leaking dike. There will always be new context related ads that are against what we do here. So this will never change.

                        OMG now I am seeing "PLAN YOUR OWN DIVORCE" easy do it yourself kits LOLOLOL...ok maybe this is funny....maybe I should go talk to my old man hmmmm? I love the ADBB we can learn to loose weight and dump our old baggage at the same time
