User CP options

Does anybody know what all the options do?

For instance "Attachments" and "Edit Folders" (what folders? folders for what?)

I figured out what the "Ignore List" does today.. .pretty cool!

But I haven't figured out what the "Buddy List" does, anybody know?

I know about the ignore list as I have put that into motion today. but the buddy list I have not used..

I am interested to know.

You can add someone to your buddy list by clicking on their userid and selecting the "add xxx to buddy list" option. To see a list of online buddies, go to the portal page and there is a list at the top, left hand side.

I'm not sure if a buddy who posts in stealth mode will show up in the list though...like you MOG.

Attachments: You can attach files to any post so this feature lists all the filles that you have attached to posts along with the thread/post that it was attached to. It also lets you view the attachment and delete it.

Edit Folder in private messages area: You can create/edit folders to file your PMs in so that you can get organized...unlike me.

I wonder, is there any way to have 'new threads' ignore an entire forum? For example, i don't want Journals to show up in my 'new threads/latest threads' list because there are so many and they get updated so often that I would prefer not to have them listed, and only read them at my own pace.
