    Re: Vacation plans?

Since we went in February, we probably won't go again until either the end of this year or beginning of next (more than likely January or February of next year).

      Re: Vacation plans?

Hmmm, plans for the summer. Finding a new job, getting ready for school in September. We take mini trips. We'll probably head to Buffalo for Labor Day weekend. We'll go to Vegas in October (I may not go if school prevents me). We went to Florida last month for a long weekend. Our 2 year anniversary is this month so maybe we'll do something but only for a night or two. I wish we could just take 2 weeks off but bf's job isn't built that way.

Probably aiming to take another sort break somewhere in Eastern Europe again, at the end of the year. Probably November time. But if money is a little better before then, I quite fancy a trip to Greece in September / October.

I suppose I am lucky to actually live closer to Greece than you do, thus making a trip for me a little easier (not to mention cheaper).

                    Re: Vacation plans?

Greece has always been a dream trip of mine! If you do go Rich you have to take tons of pictures to share!

Nope, not even any fishing weekends. We have to save our vacation days and our money to go to WV to spend the holidays with John's family this year. We both only get 5 days of Vacation a year and can't afford to take anydays off w/o pay. Plus we're gonna have to rent a car and get a motel when we go, so that shoots the vacation money.

Greece?? Oh, that sounds just awesome! Send a post card...please!

Fishing and camping over the weekends during the summer, mostly. But we are making plans for a long weekend trip to either the coast of Oregon or to WY to visit Yellowstone National Park. Either way, the gas will cost the same round trip.

                          Re: Vacation plans?

Yep I'm on vacation next week. For those without little children it may seem lame, but we are going to Sesame Place http://www.sesameplace.com right outside Philadelphia for a couple of days. It's a them/water park run by Anheiser Busch (think Busch Gardens, Seaworld, etc) but it is geared towards 7 year olds and younger. For example the wave pool is only an 18" wave, the water slides are tame or geared for parent/child riding together, and the rides are all kiddie rides, including a "first timer" roller coaster. But I'm hoping they enjoy it, they should like the characters (if they don't get freaked out). Plus it's kind of a trial run for a Disney trip.

That's a good place to start before Disneyworld, I have a coworker who has two kids who are scared of people in costumes that just took his kids to Disney and spent the whole time trying to avoid mickey mouse lol.

I went to Montreal in feb on a business trip, Florida on a personal trip in march, Boston on a business trip in May, So I think my vacation will just be relaxing up at the cottage this summer.

I know have the opportunity in the next month to go on a business trip to Montpellier France for a few days. I'm debating it..believe it or not i'm not sure if i'm up to it...then part of me is thinking this could be my only trip to France in my life. Not sure what to do yet...since i've travelled 3x in 4 months i'm actually kind of tired of it LOL. Never thought i'd hear myself say that.

I just find it very exhausting.
