I'm no expert, but it doesn't look like a poisonous one by the shape of the head, and I know that round pupils usually mean a non poisonous variety....at least here in VA. Either way, what was the ultimate fate of your houseguest? My adventurous teenager has been trying to get me to cook one up for him for dinner.........I'm sure Heidi or somebody has a recipe to share.

personally I love snakes they eat rodents! now spiders I had a patient bring in the spider that bit her a couple of weeks ago and I flipped out ..the patient thought she was going to have to take care of me !!! for the rest of my shift the guys I work with chased me with it ..why is it even grown men find it funny to see a woman terrified???

I did not witness it, but was told it is in snake heaven!
Sadie was nice enough to leave me a recipe already LOLOL.
