I hope you have a wonderful time (I know you will), that your daughter has a gorgeous wedding (I'm sure she will), that her marriage lasts a lifetime and beyond (I'm positively she will!), and that your son finally showed up to take you to the airport (I pray he did or he's in BIG trouble with mama!).

the wedding itself was amazing and beautiful I will post some pics as soon as I chill a bit...


my son finally showed ..we made the flight and things went horribly tragic in the air..I can not really talk in public about it out of respect for the person/family involved but just know that a nurse is a nurse no matter where we are and I spent my flight as a nurse instead of a woman on a trip to see my daughter get married...we had to make an emergency landing and then ended up loosing a day because of a missed connection...no big deal considering for me considering the circumstances for the woman I had to care for ...

then there was family drama (go figure) the kids biological parents batted 1000 again when it comes to parents of the year awards (I am being EXTREMELY sarcastic right now) ...and opted out of coming at the last min ..

everyone who was coming ended up with horrible flights ..either late or cancled

but Kelda was a beautiful bride the wedding was very Jimmy Buffet ( I splurged and bought the guys Tommy Bahama shirts since I was not doing the food) and they ALL looked darling!

the weather held ..and my beautiful grandson danced until he dropped from exhaustion and could not stop kissing Papa Dea (my husband) he just loved him!!!!

I was able to go to all my old haunts and a dear friend after hearing about my trauma ...came picked me up ...took me away for a day of wine...Portuguese food and a walk down memory lane...and more wine ....it was just what I needed after the trip in...we even flashed a toll booth attendent for old times sake! (she drove sober no worries) ...I however was shitfaced drunk and proud of it I do not do this any more (intentionally drink too much) ...but I did that day and you know what for once in my life it actually was therapeutic!!!

that is it for now ...I am home heading to work ..tired ..happy about my daughter's wonderful day finally working out....emotionally depleted and very sad ...

it is so good to be home ...everyone ..hug the people you love ..it sounds corny ..but life is fking short and you never know...all I know is I hugged and kissed all my kids/family/friends over and over again ....
