Yeah Barb the US sure did suck. But you know I did not expect much out of them becasue we really don't support AYSO here in the states as much as we do American Football. Maybe we could redeem ourselves and win just one game sometime.

No disrespect Patty, but Brazil didnt exactly win big. They only won 1-0.

Anyway, I have just got home from watching England win their second match. Not brilliant but we won. thats all that matters.

I read recently, that Gordon Brown said 2 out of 3 Scots are supporting England.
That is the BIGGEST LIE that I've heard any politician speak EVER!
Waaaaaaaaaaaaay more than the whole WMD stuff.
Unless they are of English descent, I don't know of a single Scot or Irish person that is supporting England.

Again, it's a friendly rivalry.

There is much crwing in the papers here, as apparently when Australia qulaified, the US coach said someting along the lines of "Australia will just be there to make up the numbers!". So, all our media reporters are saying "ya ya, who lost their forst game, then!". Very undiginified but maybe they have got a point. I hope they don't leave it so late to score next time, it's bad for my blood pressure.

And I heard on the news this morning that Ronaldo was hospitalised with dizzy spells, I do hope he makes a full recovery but after our match with Brazil, please God!

We drew last night against Sweden. Not a bad result we still won our group. And will play ecuador in the second round.

Oh and President Holmes - I would never mock the mighty Scots ;-)

I watched the Paraguay game and thought I had jinxed it as ye got 2 goals!!!
