And its "Royal Ascot" because of the royalty connection......
There is ladies day, where all the women try to out do each other by wearing the best hats. Its quite a spectacle, but I have never been.

I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

Not all the girls under the hats are Royal, though I guess all have serious money.
Mind you, the Queen and the Princess Royal look pretty smart, for ladies of their age.

Some of those hats are pretty funky. I'd imagine that the women don't get an opportunity to wear something that's 2 feet high and full of peacock feathers or fake flowers like that very often. LOL.
The gents look fine in their suits, for sure. Gotta love a well dressed gentleman with an accent ;PFemale
