Basically, this mother took her son from Seattle Hospital in a diaper bag. The State had taken her son away from her because the doctors didn't feel the "alternative" treatment that she was giving him, was good for him. These were the same doctors that told her he wasn't going to live after he was born, and if you check out his picture, her alternative treatment seems to be working.

I feel so sorry for this lady. She is doing what she feels is best for her son, and for that the State of Washington has now thrown her into jail and taken him away from her. Her crime was just loving her son and wanting the best for him.

Hmm, the article doesn't say anything about a second opinion. She should have demanded that they baby be examined by another doctor outside of this hospital, maybe she could have gotten some backing. I hope he's o.k. He sure is a cute little fella!

well if the mother has been treating her son with alternative means and she has brought him this far - who is the state to bud its nose in and take her child away.
