4th of July

Any big plans for the 4th of July? I think Canada day is the 3rd isn't it? Any special plans for that?

We'll probably get some fireworks, John loves them! Here in NC though we are very limited on the kinds of fireworks we're allowed. Nothing that explodes is legal. We still have a good time with them though, even though they scare the Giz to death.

Sounds fun! I sure wish that the 4th fell on Monday instead of Tuesday though. I sucks having to go to work Monday then have Tuesday off then back to work Wednesday. Big Bummers!

July 1st is Canada Day. We get a day off but I think it depends on one's employer whether one gets the Friday or the Monday off when it falls on a weekend. I think most people get the Monday off. I'm taking Friday too so we will have a 4 day weekend. They are calling for rain again. sigh It was sunny the last two weekends that we didn't go up North. Oh well. If it is warm and sunny we'll go to the beach and someone will likely have a margerita party somewhere.

MOG I am sure John knows how to "modify" fire works to make them explode Just point them at the neighbors house then the po po has a hard time telling who did them! I am working that day and the slave drivers with the whips smile and laugh at me while I do so!

Actually John just went up north and had plenty of opportunity to purchase the "good" kind, we decided that since we live right in the city it would be better not to take a chance. There is a low income project almost across the street from us and the cops are always coming and going from there which takes them right by our house! Plus, our Vegan Tree Hugger neighbors would probably call the cops anyway. They get really ticked when we set off fireworks cause it upsets their dogs!

Hey everyone, come on over to my place to see the BOOM BOOMs I love em. Shhhhhhhh but don't tell the coppers.
I was thinking the other day it must seem odd for a 44 yr old white woman in the barrio to host a BOOM BOOM party. I have a great stash this year and I'll be selling the legal stuff at our booth this Thurs and on the 3rd.
Come on over for the Asada, pollo and shrimp. Movies all day and Boom Booms all night

Wow I love it when you talk like that hey nelson! It reminds me of the old days with words like "Boom boom" "stash" and "legal stuff". I will be there just for the mere fact that those words can be interpreted many ways. Heck it almost sounds like we will be smoking pot and making porn haha. Ofcourse lighting fireworks would be fine too.

I'm going to my favorite little spot on the hill in Playa Del Rey, where I can see fireworks all over the Los Angeles Basin. I was considering going up to Malibu, but the traffic on the way home is deadly. So, Playa it is!!

Sounds nice Stazi. When you are at the Playa (beach) around 9pm look NE going twards E.La and those HUGE doubles and Tripple Coconuts you see exploding will be directing you to my house. LOL
