22-Foot-Python Stretches To 'Biggest Snake' Title

IMMOKALEE, Fla. -- Muffy is a lulu of a snake. In fact, Muffy is even bigger than Lulu.



Muffy, a 9-year-old Burmese python, measures 22-plus feet. That's long enough to take America's longest title from Lulu, a snake at the Bronx Zoo in New York City.

It took four men and woman to stretch Muffy out for her date with the measuring tape.

Muffy belongs to Bob Cowlishaw, the owner of Florida tourist attractions Everglades Day Safari and Captain Bob's Excellent Adventure.

He said he had Muffy measured to point out a big problem -- people releasing their pet pythons when they get too large to keep at home.

DANG! You know we got a newsletter this a.m. that said they will be blocking more and more non work related websites from our access! I'm freaking...I sure hope they don't block ADBB! What on earth would I do!??
