              Well, I think you'd only have to have visitation and pay alimony if it could be proven that you were a biological parent. Which you are not. Mog is. so you would have to adopt Miss Gizmo. If you know right now that it's not going to work then maybe you should skip the adopting. You shoulda signed a prenup Mog, stating that you keep Miss Giz in the event of a divorce.

                          In a lot of states if you take responsibility for the child you're stuck paying child support even if you're not the biological parents. Just a handy tidbit I picked up working for the DA's Child Support unit.

                          I think we were a tad bit to tipsy to think about a prenup!

                              Excuse me Miss I-would-never-be-rude....don't you think shushing is a bit rude?

                              Mog and Origam - ummm, are you even allowed to get married? See, being in Canada we can now marry anyone we want. We could probably marry our pets if we wanted to (hey - northern Canada is a cold and lonely place.....lol) but I don't know if you guys are allowed to do that. so perhaps a divorce will not be necessary.
