Bristol RI 4th of July Parade

Oh how I miss it!
I marched in this parade so many times.
Nothing out here can really match it.
Anyone else feel my pain? Missing festivities at home?

OMG babygirl Bristol!!!! ....I once had a boyfriend from Bristol ...hmmmmmmm the memories of kissing in Colt State Park ...and the cemetary where I learned to drive ...omg ..but I digress

ok memories ..well my dad used to get illegal fireworks ...I think in Mass? ..but do not really remember....when we were kids and set them off in the city ..in Providence ..but since there were M80s ...cherry bombs ...gun shots and sirens all night back then no one ever noticed our noise!!! and yes it was fun

I'm a band geek. In high school I was the only girl in the drum line. I went to East Providence High School and every year we marched in that parade...in our wool uniforms...me with a very heavy instrument harnessed to the front of me. It was SOOOOOOO HOTTTTTT, but so worth it. I think it's more fun to be a part of the parade than to watch it!
Heidi I've also made out one more than one occasion in Colt State Park...this guy was also from Bristol. Looked like a Portuguese James Dean. I think he ended up going to Salve and still lives there.

I think most RI girls made out in Colt State Park at one time or another....I went there when I went back this past week or so ago ...and let me tell you ...making out there ..it is still fun
