Just curious - how many of you have web cams in your house? If so, what do you use them for?

Not me.
My sister does, she uses them so when her kids talk to their dad on the phone they can see each othere, their dad works out of the country for months at a time.

I have a collection of them lol. Seriously, I dont know why I have so many but I do.
I use mine to see my friends and family in the UK when I'm in the US. And I use mine to see my boyfriend in the US when I'm in the UK.

Yes, and I bought it about a year ago when a bunch of us used to hang in the old chat room and get the cams going. I was cool to see everyone that you usually just see pics in their siggy's. We also did chat's with sound(through yahoo) which was fun too.
Now nobody uses the chat room.Jim

does anyone know how to take a pic of the person you are talking with? this way I can tell my family back home to pose and snap a pic and download it. Is that do able?

I have a webcam and I used to use it quite a lot when me and my bf were in different countries! Now I use it less, but now and then I see my friends.
Usually we talk on skype (free programm to talk with people around the world!)
