I moved out for the first time when I was 17. I moved in with my ex boyfriend in Manchester New Hampshire. Then I got a job as a live in nanny there, and then the bastard broke my heart and I ran home to RI crying. So the first foray out of the house lasted 9 months. Second came at age 19, my stepfather in one of his ******* moods decided to boot me out because I called out of work (seriously, I wasn't partying, wasn't doing drugs, wasn't drinking, was respectful, etc), so I went to live with my dad. I moved out of dads when I was 20 and moved in with my fiance. Got married, stayed in the same apartment for almost 3 years until the dissolution of my marriage, at which point I moved back in with dad AGAIN (now 23) to save money to move to California, which is where I am now, have been for a year and a half and hopefully won't be moving in with the folks ever again (unless God forbid they need me to or something...)

So....I don't know which one to choose.

24, when I got married. However, my first two addresses were on the same street where I grew up. First was an apartment (2 family house) across the street. Second was the first house that we bought (right next to my parents!!).

We moved to our current house in March, 1993.

I was 19, turning 20 in 2 months after....and married shortly after.

18 for college, came back for holidays and summer.

I'm not sure I'll ever consider myself fully moved out lol.

When I was 17, in my second year of college, my mom's friend moved from the UK (where I was at the time) to Virginia to get married. She still wanted to keep her house for a while just incase things didnt work out, or her visa didnt go through, so she asked me to move in and live there with her dogs.
I lived there for a year before she decided to sell it, and then moved back in with my mom for my final year of college.
Then I moved to the US, 6 months later, had to leave because of my visa and moved back in with my mom, and since 2004 I've moved back and for every 2 months or so, but now I just consider me having 2 homes.

If I was in the UK permanently, I still probably wouldn't have moved out - I pay my mom $300 a month regardless of where I am, because she's bringing my siblings up alone with no help from my dad, so I want to help her out still.

Even when I move entirely and my fiance and I buy our own house in 6 months, I'll still send her the money. I'll have more money to spare, and I want to pay her back for all the help and guidance she's given me. Plus, I would NEVER want her to struggle with bills or anything as she has before.

Maybe one day when she's married and has more money, I'll stop, but until then, I want to help her out.

I was 16 when my mom kicked me out of the house, but then she forced me to move back. I moved out for good when I was 18 and got married later that year.
