  • I've given my gf a black eye!

A couple of nights ago, I had a particularly bad night sleep, tossing and turning and talking a lot. It would appear that I hit my gf across the face whilst I was asleep and she has now got a black eye.

Anyone else do strange things in their sleep?

It never ceases to amaze me of how easy and how effective this ***diet*** is!!

I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

A couple of years ago, I was taking Ambien (Rx sleeping pill) and I would wake up, go downstairs and EAT like a maniac!

Thank God, when I stopped taking it, the "middle of the night" munchies ended.

I don't usually tell many people this- but I will Rich to help ease you mind. My hubby and I were jsut dating. We went on a vacation to FL with my parents. Well we had spent the day at crocodile capturing type show.

Well--- that night hubby had a dream obviusly he was wrestling the crocs, and got rather violent. Well- silly me, I tried to wake him. Well that made him more combative, I ended up with a fat bleeding lip, and a broken finger, he woke up with me on the floor crying. Feeling totally humilated for what he had done.

Well, the worse was yet to come-- the expression on my parents face when they met us the next morning for breakfast.. Oh, my poor hubby ; he felt aweful-- luckily my parents are fond of him...

Re: I've given my gf a black eye!

my hubby hit me right in the mouth in my sleep last year, he has alot of 'fighting' dreams, he actually air boxes in them. does it alot. unfortuantely my mouth got in his way. I didn't see it coming since i was so sound asleep, I actually saw stars! I had a bit of a fat lip but it wasn't too noticable.

a couple of years ago he hit me in the ribs and knocked the wind of of me. His tossing and turning had woke me up that night so it didn't catch me quite as off guard.

I'm so releived to know I'm not the only one this has happened to.

Since everyon who knows my hubby knows he would never do something like that intentiionally, it became quite a joke with his friends for a while, about how his wife has to sleep with a full face helmet on

you'll have to put one of those small trampolines beside your bed so gizzie just bounces back up!

is john stressed lately? i usually notice something stressful is going on when johnnie has his 'boxing' dreams.

I'm quite the sleep talker actually...

Apparently, I once admonished my husband (while sleeping) to "stop throwing babies at blind animals."

I'm still wondering what I meant.
No stats. Not weighing anymore ever. Will post "before and after" pictures when I want to. The end.

I am not meant to smile when reading posts at work, or its obvious to people who sit near me that I am not working.

But I couldnt resist smiling then. Babies at blind animals is just far too funny.

I'm cracking up. Are many of us married to fighters? lol Mine fights, but he's never done anything in his sleep. Good thing... he mostly studies BJJ so I might wake up with a dislocated shoulder. He dreams about BJJ all the time so I sure hope he doesn't start grappling me.

I didnt know that there were other violent sleepers!! I've had to explain to people in the past that my boyfriend isn't violent, because I'm always covered in bruises from where he's hit me - both in his sleep and when he's awake lol. He's clumsy when he's awake, but when he's sleeping, he thrashes around in bed and shouts out random things in Spanish lol.

It makes me laugh, at least!

Whoa - That happened to me too when I took Ambien at night; I just blamed the Doc for a worthless sleeping pill that had me up in the middle of the night, instead of sleeping. In the morning I was also taking Rx's for weight loss!

My bro-in-law is a war veteran. When he gets up in the morning, he finds broken lamps and stuff on the floor all around his bed, because of the war still going on in his head. Sometimes he found my sister on the floor, too.

when I was a teenager, if someone touched me when I was sleeping - I came up swinging or I'd reach out real fast and grab you.

And one time I remember before bed, my dog (who never barked unless there was a reason) was at my bedroom window looking out and barking his head off. I unscrewed my bedpost and went to sleep holding it because I was afraid of whatever was out there - the next morning my mother walked in the room and touched my foot to wake me up and I swung that post like a bat.
