My DH has choked me with his elbow around my head, kicked me,kicked the dog right off the bed - it was a LONG time before she'd venture back on after that one... kneed me into the wall (small room and my side is right up against it) .... He's forever stealing my pillow - sometimes he rips it right out from under my head all mad, like I've taken it from him or something. He really doesn't seem aware of what he's doing, and is shocked to find I've had another crappy night's sleep in the morning. LOL. It's no wonder people get matching twin beds when they're older!!!!
One night that he was riding a motorcycle in his dreams. I'd never ridden and I asked him why he was moving his right hand (throttle) sometimes squeezing it down like a brake lever, and flicking his left foot (gear shifter).
When our firstborn was a few months old and wouldn't stop crying (colic) I asked him if he could PLEASE get up with her because I was exhausted. He told me to just wrap a chain around it. ?!?!? He said it really slow too like I was stupid for asking such a silly question.

I used to walk and talk in my sleep quite a bit when I was a kid. Sometimes when I was scared at night, I'd go tell my Dad that I had a headache and he'd get up and get me some Tylenol. That would comfort me and I could go back to bed.
This particular night, I was asleep and dreaming that I was scared and wanted to get my Dad up. I remember reasoning with myself before I went in there that I had two eyes, and two ears, so I MUST have two heads. I stood by my Dad's bed until he woke up and asked me what I wanted. I actually said, "Daddy, both my heads are hurting!" He said, "What?" I repeated it. He said, "You don't have two heads, so go back to bed." I said, "Okay" and that was the end of it.
When we first got married, I used to have a recurring dream that a spider was dropping down from the ceiling, right at my face. One night, I came flying out of the bed and was headed straight for the closed door when my DH reached out and grabbed me. He grabbed me every time I got out of bed quickly after that for several years. I had to reassure him that I was awake.
My Dad was a pretty severe sleepwalker. When he joined the Navy, it kept him off of a ship for six months while he completed a psychological evaluation. They were afraid he'd walk right off the ship. When he was a kid, he once threw his entire paper route in his sleep!
I was sound a sleep and got up ...found and put my shoes in the fridg and then went and curled up on the front steps where my husband found me sound asleep the next morning ...I would call that strange
My ex-husband used to have dreams that his car was slidig down a hill and he was trying to push it up hill. I awoke several times by being thrown off the bed because he was pushing the mattress (car).
