    Re: Favourite Water

Bottle is my 1st choice, tap is for cooking; Our lovely water supply has a slight mineral feature of aresnic--.025 mg/l.

Although we are assured there is no "danger" to health issues, they have to send a notice out every so often to remind folks who drink it that long exporsure to the "naturally occurring contaminant that is widely found throughout the western United States" can cause serious health issues. Since our oldest DD has 1 kidney we buy the bottled water or spring water.

Oh the joys of living in a farming community.

LOL, country water around here comes from a well!

The water near our coast here is NASTY! When we go down there we always bring lots of "City" water!

You know whats funny.. he started calling the waters that back in San Diego. How the heck do you get country water in friggin' San Diego, CA?!

I've never had well water.. that I know of. I'm kind of paranoid of it since my friend got seriously sick from a bad well once.

Really? That sucks. Well water is awesome! I grew up on the stuff. My mom and dad and my brother and his family are all still on a well! I'd take that over this city water with all the chemicals and crap.

There is a sewage treatment plant not far from here, you do realize that they treat the sewage and then call it clean and dump it back into the city water system so you can use it for drinking and bathing! I know its tested and yadda yadda yaddd, but the thought just grosses me out!

Wouldn't well water also equal "Rain water". I am very dissapointed to see that no one has voted for Rain water yet!!!?!?!?!?

              Re: Favourite Water

Actually well water comes from underground springs/water tables. I don't have time to go out with buckets when it rains Rich...LOL, plus I heard too much talk about "acid rain" when I was growing up!

                Re: Favourite Water

I prefer COLD bottle water. Our tap water (like alot of others) is horrible!!

And Rich, in Bermuda the majority of the water is rain water. The roofs of most of the houses are coated with lime and the rain runs down the roof into a special holding tank. Ever since the first time we went there, in 1978, I haven't been able to drink that water. If I did, I would be constantly in the little girl's room!!

                  Re: Favourite Water

I drink bottled water at work since we have a cooler from a local company and it's wonderful. At home I drink tap water, usually room temperature.
