Don't hate me. A hurricane's coming, and I'm probably gonna get washed out to sea. It's all good.

A hurricane? Can you tell I haven't watched too much TV?

Yea I saw that. Yesterday they were saying it wouldn't become a hurricane, now they've changed their minds. That scares me.

We do in the bedroom too, until it drops below 45 then we close them.

Funny how now when it drops below 75 I feel chilled.

I was like that when I first moved here from Hawaii! I had to wear a sweater and shoes and socks if it got down to 75!

                        Re: Air Conditioning

No, here in the northwest we need air about 5 days out of the year so we don't bother with it. It's going to hit 73 degrees today in Seattle, and your all invited to come over and cool off. LOL

To me, this simply means that they (the media) have no idea what they are talking about.

                            Sounds heavenly Lynne.

You're right about that Miss P. - that's even scarier, you never know what to believe or think! I hope its not a season like last year!

My Mom used to make us roll up the windows on the car and "pretend" we had air conditioning! Seriously

No a/c here in Norway. Not in the shops either. Its horrid. Not in the cars. ARGH. Makes me miss Arizona where we'd go from an air conditioned house to the air conditioned car to the air conditioned shops.
I remember taking my truck up to my mechanic and complaining that my a/c wasn't running cold - he took the truck for a drive, took the temp of the a/c and told me "Tammy if it rained in your truck you'd have snow" Guess it was just me

I moved to Norway from Arizona in the summer. So we went from 115 F to 55 F. My son and I were the only ones in the neighborhood walking around in winter coats, hats, gloves - winter clothes. Everyone else was in shorts and t shirts
