check my post, i just edited you need to put tape onthe top of the bottle.
Oh and i should also add, if you drink that whole bottle of wine, there's a good chance you might not really care about the flies anymore

Sadie, it tells you all about the drains and stuff in that second link, says to pour amonia down the drains to get rid of them. At least that's what I think it said, I don't have any at my house so I didn't read it real closely.

hahah - I found an 1/8 of a bottle of chardonnay in the downstairs fridge! I must have been on real bender not to have finished that sucker. It's the big bottle too. Hey - at least I have a bottle <pointing fingers at you over there with the box of wine that has a spigot!>
I haven't had a drink in like forever! The wine smells way better than that parmesan cheese did this morning!

in any case, unless your produce is fully ripe or has damaged, rotten or fermentation or mold on it somewhere, you won't have any eggs. Cut off any such spots before you eat the produce if you don't like crunchy fruit fly eggs with your fruit & veggies. Toss the pieces outside to feed them.~Susan
