Heh.. mine is kind of boring.
And no darnit it's not supposed to be Origami! 
Long story somewhat shorter.. my name is Amber, I was posting on a board when another gal named Amber came along.. it got confusing trying to figure out who was who so they dubbed me the "Original Amber" which they eventually shortened to Origam. It stuck.. and I've been using it for quite some time.

What a cool thread ~ i always wondered what people's sign-on names stood for! I posted this in a different thread, but i'll do it again...

My is La-la, worked in a daycare center with 3/4 year olds years ago.. they could never say Laura... so they just called me Ms.Lala .. it stuck.. friends have gone along with it too... so there you have it Lala, or Laura
