ive heard that before and i still dont understand it.how could someone get so mad at a person over a tattoo..i mean i understand it coming form parents it took my mom a little wile to get over it but now she knows im still her son.

ive dated tattooed girls and non tattooed girls,,,i will admitt its easer dating someone that understands how you feel,but ha i never even asked if it was ok to get a tattoo or if my gf would care...that just strikes me as odd.

heehe I honestly would not care if hubby got a tatoo.. I may get shocked as t's sooo not huby.. LOL as long as is not another girls name on him LOL or anything meaning his ex LOL I would be fine.. the onlything I would want it covered up

Why do you (all of you who have them) get tattoos?

i wanted them. one of my best friends was a tattoo artist so it was easy access. i still love what i have. i haven't gotten another in 5 years but i am debating a fourth. it sounds strange but they are addicting.

I've gotten them for several reasons. A big one being, they serve as milestone markers to me, it's my way of turning little scars that life has given me (mentally and physically) into something beautiful.

my girl friend now,has more then a few tattoos,and its great because we understand each other and why we feel the need to get tattooed like this.she wants to have her arm sleeved before we get married,,its really comfortable to be able to talk to someone about it and them not give you that,,,,,,did you bomp your head look..

I see a lot of unclothed people at my work ..and you know what ...many people you would never suspect have brilliant color all over their bodies

hey here is another reason ..the more my shoulders are brightly colored the less people will notice my face getting older...much better than cosmetic surgery ..I would not do that myself ..I like adding color to what nature already gave me

This one is on the left side of my chest. I got it when I was 18 years old. It was my "I'm 18 and can do what I want, I'm a bird taking flight!" tattoo.


This is the memorial tattoo I had done in memory of my husband. I chose a rose for the obvious reasons. The dark pink represents gratitude. The light pink represents grace and gentleness. The white tips represent secrecy, silence, and heaven. The stem is in the shape of 2 C's - because he was called Corky and also to symbolize broken infinity. He was supposed to be here forever! It has 3 leaves....one for each of the children. It's on my foot because he was such a foot freak.

Corky called me and the girls his Diamond Trio. All three of us were born in April. I call my kids my Sun, Moon, and Stars. I'm planning on having a celestial scene of some sort put on my lower back. It'll have a sun, moon, and stars...and I'll have 3 diamonds tattoo'd into somewhere too.

Why did I get tattoo'd? For me, it's simple really. I find them to be beautiful. They have significant meaning and represent major things in my life and they go with me everywhere I go.

i worked at a tattoo shop for 3 years and everybody from dr.s,lawyers,priest and grandmothers walked threw the door.they really have crossed all lines.i cant understand how some got tattooed more then once and can stop there.i see naked skin and all i can see it what design should be there..

but i show respect for the old timers if it wasnt for them getting tattooed when it was really tabo i wouldnt be able to get the quality of work we can get today..

and when they are as powerful as brook's foot there should be no question why someone would get tattooed.
