For the most part, they are fine.
One, in particular, although I don't think she likes me, has gone out of her way to choose unscented products so as to not impact my allergies to perfumes, which I really appreciate.
I voted " i like them all" but lets clarify LOL. Everyone has their own quirks. All of them can dance on my nerves. I work closely with 3 men, being a woman, you know we just see things differently. We work in a field that requires compassion, treating cancer patients, at times they lack compassion and will argue over stupid things such as appointment times with dying people. UGH. One talks incessently about his "conquests" and that can get old. One sleeps and one is in LA LA Land most of the time LOL. Being the "core" therapist, i sometimes have a hard time confronting them on issues that may arise. All in all, we get along fine tho and seem to laugh alot. Now on the other hand, we have a clerk who takes on the role of office manager and puts her 2 cents and her nose in where it doesn't belong and that irritates the S*** out of me. I have had to put her "in her place".........I am not asking your opinion etc........you're a clerk. ( that sounds bad but ......truth hurts.) We go by the opinion , if you cant turn on the machine and treat the patient, your advise is unecessary.

I said all because I'm referring to the people in my own department (I teach). There are people in my school that can drive me nuts, but I don't often have to work with them.

If she doesnt like you, why has she gone out of her way to help you fight your allergies?
Company policy - we all breathe the same air - and I would have to go home or take sick leave - they cannot afford to have me do that constantly (actually I'm not the only one, either - the first day she arrived, marinated in perfume, two of us had to leave)

I see, all has now become clear.

It never ceases to amaze me of how easy and how effective this ***diet*** is!!
I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!
I have my own "book of business" so I don't interact all that much with my co-workers. By next year, I will be telecommuting so that will be even better!
I have a select group of coworkers that I like and enjoy. The rest could fall off the face of the planet and my day would not be affected

absolutely I get along wonderfully with all my coworkers have an awesome team of doctors, pcrs, techs and nurses around me..it would not be good at all in my work to not get along!!!!
we have our moments...when shiiiiit hits the fan and we can get snippy due to the overwhelming stress we are under... but it is instant can be directed at anyone and over in a minute.. in the end it is our patients that matter to us and that is the bottom line
There are 11 of us on the floor, 6 in my particular area. We're basically like a family, spending 8+ hours a day with each other and naturally people are going to be on your nerves occasionally.
When it gets bad I usually close the door to my office for a bit and everything is peachy before long.
And from past experience it's been proven that these people come through when you need them, both in work and personal issues. I could not ask for a better bunch of friends/co-workers.
I've had previous jobs where I haven't. I remember this one job, the very first day I walk in, introduce myself and this one person starts giving me the evil eye and by lunch hour, she was muttering crap about me. Considering that I spent the morning getting oriented and had no contact with her at all, I thought she was a psycho. Anyhow, after 6 months I moved on.
