I personally love the set. (Im a traditionalist and would like the man to pick but thats just me. I figure if its to the pointin the relationship in asking.... he knows my tastes! That said, it wouldnt hurt to get opinions from her mom or close girlfriends.).

If she likes the "different", the sapphires are gorgeous and very different. The set and #1 are traditional and gorgeous pieces.

yea i knew about the saphires,,,,,,we both wear a irish cladgha ring,,,the heart hands and crown,,,for love loyalty and friendship...thats why i was looking at the saphires.just another symbol of loyalty..o and i was mistaken....number one is platnum and the rest are white gold

but i am leaning to either number 2 or number 5 the set...but i havent quit looking yet ill make my final decesion monday.


i think i know her taste,,,,and to me letting her pick out the ring would ruin the surprise because i told her it would be another year or so before we should even talk about it...so this is coming way out of left field as far as she is concerned...if worse comes to worse with the diamond im buying we can always change the seting if she dosent like it.

I like the first one! No, I LOVE the first one! It looks like a more elaborate (and expensive) version of my engagement ring.

At the end of the day, you know your gf best, so I advise you to look at the jewelry she already has and see which one would fit her best. Or failing that, get in touch with a friend of hers/family member and get them to trick her into telling them. Girls love to dream about rings lol. She'll spill what kind she'll love.

My boyfriend gave up on all these and just picked 3 rings for me in the jewelers, then took me to the shop to "look at them" as we were walking past buying my mom a gift, and when I said "ooh that ones nice!" he's just handed his credit card over lol. The sales girl was in on it too! I thought that was nice because one of the 3 he chose I would have hated! Well, not hated, but I didnt really like it. I would have l loved whatever he'd given me, but I'm glad I got to choose it
