I'm just wondering, because of not2late's words about crimes going unpunished why "they" couldn't make it a little harder to get? Let me go back and read the article (probably should have done that first hehe).


OK read the article and while I really don't think it will promote "more" promiscuity (sp) I think it will tell people that it is now ok to have unprotected sex. "If I do this now, I'll just run to the pharmacy in the morning and take care of it, no need to stop and worry about a condom" Anyway this is just my little opinion on this subject.

Thats what I was thinking this morning too. Not2late and speedy brought up some good points I never thought about.

Well, it's "crimes going unpunished" because women won't report them because they'll think that the pill will solve all their problems.

So, again, abuse/rape education has to be really stepped up. Women should be told if you are sexually assaulted, take that pill AND go to a hospital to get examined and report the crime. I don't want women in this situation to get the idea that if they take the pill, everything will be okay, they don't need to report the crime, they don't need to get checked out for STDs, etc. If the pill gets that reputation, imo, it will do more harm to women than good, because these women won't get the medical and psychological help they'll need to cope with their ordeal.
