It never ceases to amaze me of how easy and how effective this ***diet*** is!!
I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

He was filming a show for his daughter's show, and apparently, a stingray got between him and the camera man, becoming scared, and the barb went through his chest and into his heart, killing him instantlyStarted Atkins: 21 Sep 2003

It is sad, but unfortunately, in a way it was only a matter of time before it happened. He was a genius to do what he did, but it was one of the most dangerous occupations ever.

I just read that what killed him just doesn't happen. It puts new meaning to "freakish". The crazy thing is the total irony of his death. He was filming a documentary on "Ocean's Deadliest" and well, he proved it!

this is so wild a sting ray of all things???? I have scuba'd with them many times they are so calm usually .....I am sad about this...he loved animals and put his money where his mouth was

I saw him live. It was easter monday and he was there with the crocodiles, I actually saw him in the flesh (not on tv). It was a great experience.sigpic260/215/180 Male - 36 y/o

I heard about this first thing this AM and have just been so sad. I was hoping at first it was another hoax, but I guess not. I mean, hasn't he been reported dead a few other times???
Unfortunately he had an extremely risky job and certainly understood those risks. But if it had to happen, don't you think he'd have wanted it to be that way instead of by a car accident or something?
