Hi guys, I thought you animal lovers out there might appreciate this cool story. I used to have a sweet little siamese cat, Misha, who was killed by a car in 2002. She was almost 8 years old and I loved her like she was my first child. Anyway, I refused to get another kitten for a really long time because she was that special to me.
Well, I guess two little adorable kittens thought I needed to let her go and love another kitten again. On Saturday, my hubby was outside and heard a "mew". He came in with the most beautiful little black and white kitten I have ever seen! He looks to be about 10-12 weeks old. He is totally sweet and loving, so he has been raised around people. He was completely covered in fleas and a bit thin. I immediately bathed him (punture wounds on my arms to prove it) and took him to a room to sequester him from the rest of the animal family. I put flea meds on him and set him up with everything he needed.
Fast-forward one day....We named the new baby "Tux" and he has been brought upstairs and is flea-free. He settled in nicely, and even gets along well with the dogs! Now it's Sunday evening, and my hubby comes inside with an adorable little grey tiger kitten! WHAT?! Do we have a sign outside our house that says "Humane Society?" Anyway, he looks to be about the same age, so...are Tux and the new kitty brothers? Were they dumped by our house by the biggest jerk on the planet? We took the new kitty immediately downstairs to the "quarantine room" and set him up with flea meds and all the needed items. We even took Tux down to see how he reacted with him. They sniffed noses then started purring very loudly and rubbed up to each other, so I think they know each other! Both are extremely sweet and wonderful, couldn't ask for better behaved kittens! So, now I have two little kittens to cuddle instead of just one! Here's a few pics of Tux, I don't have any yet of the other kitty.
