    San Antonio Question

    I am going to be visiting my family at the end of this month.
    I am not telling them I am coming, and I haven't been there in quite some time.

    I am wondering where are some of the better places to get a place to stay( i love them, just can't stay with them, lol when you haven't been in a long time, they fight over who gets to keep you argh.) and eat, etc. Some points of interest other than the Alamo and River Walk, that is where we always went when I was younger.

    Please help, lol

    If you want to stay of the Riverwalk, you can get a few decent places off I410 and I35. When I don't stay on base I use www.hotels.com to find good deals. If you stick to the large names you should have a good room. You can search it by map also.
