I'm sitting here at work and was looking through my photobucket album and on the very first page I found my picture of me in my 20's. (sigh) I thought I was fat and ugly -- now I wish I was that "fat"!!

Come back in time with me and post your picture too...

This is me at 25. I am over 200 pounds here. Then my heaviest was 250 - I'd been walking to work, swimming and weight lifting for a little over a year - hadn't changed my eating habits.
Its summer on a trip to Mexico. In a few months from this picture - I was 30 pounds from my goal of 150. Then my BF (later to be DH - I know ) sat me down and told me I didn't dress nice, was uneducated.....made me feel like s h i t. I took it to heart and my weight has climbed ever since.
I will reach this weight again and pass it up on my way to my goal of 147! Nothing and noone will stop me this time. Especially me!

Oh, my, Kat, are you a hidden celebrity? LOL! I definitely can see a resemblence. You are right lady hawke both are very beautiful!

Yes, I agree with you -- we need to do this for OURSELVES and not to please anyone else. Otherwise we'll look back on our life and wonder why we didn't do it when we were younger and this is the youngest we are going to be from this point on.

She's very pretty and looks more Greek to me and I think I look more Italian...pretty similar though.

Kkat, I immediately saw the resemblance to Nia Vardalos before I even saw the later post.

I also think I, too, looked a lot like you. We're about the same age and I had the same hair, etc. back then. And if 80's hair comes back, I'd seriously be a happy girl!! And the clothes too. I know everybody makes fun, but if you look at the styles and hair on Designing Women, that was my favorite!!

Okay, maybe I'm weird.

If I knew how to post a pic, I would. Maybe I'll mark this thread and try to find some time next week to learn how. I hate not being technologically current!!!
