I think it is neat that your cat matches your carpeting and floor and is such a gorgeous color!
I have a step-cat named Boots and she is mostly black with a few white markings on her face, chest & underside. She is not affectionate at all. She'll come in the same room with us, but doesn't want to be touched or bothered. My DH got her as an adult cat when he was a teenager and thinks she may have been abused by the way she acted. He said that she is a lot better now than she used to be. (I think she is over 20 years old now.)
However, the stray that has been hanging around is adorable! He is soooo affectionate and not in the least wanting to bite or claw at you like Boots. Sad to say we found his owners and they took him home, but he came back to visit! He doesn't come every day, but close to it. If he decides not to come back, I do want another cat if we could get one as friendly and fun as he is.
