• "Inside My Heart" by Robin McGraw

I just read an article regarding Robin McGraw's new book in "Ladies Home Journal" and it is so cute!

Now I'm going to be on the lookout for it so I can get it.

Anyone else heard about this book? Anyone else read it yet?

I saw Dr. Phil show last Thursday when she talks about the book. I want to read it also as I grew up around alcoholism in the family and I think that does a real number on a person. It will be interesting to read it and compare notes. I saw the book last night at Walmart for $17.95. I think I'll wait - I like her, but I thought that was a lot to pay.

I think the whole bunch of them are a little loony-the way the wife sits in the audience with the plastic smile on her face all show-she's the strangest one out of them all.

I think her book will be interesting because they have been married 30 years and still seem to be so much in love. She has her husband's love and respect and that is a lot to say for most women in America.

I also think it is fantastic that she shows so much interest in what he is doing with his life. She is very supportive. How many people can say they have someone backing them 100 percent in their endeavors?

There is no perfect family or relationship, but from what I've seen they have a lot going for them as a couple and family.

There's an old saying that goes like this: "Every man is your teacher."

You can learn something from everyone you meet. I think her book will be worth reading.

I'm with you on that...she's a little too perky and perfect for me.

I didn't mean to offend anyone. I don't know enough about her to really say anything- I just think it's strange that's all. And he's altogether a fake in my book. He shouldn't be calling himself doctor anything for one thing- he also shouldn't be pushing supplements to lose weight. I guess thinking about it- in a way I feel bad for her- living with such a know it all would drive me crazy. And nobody knows what goes on behind closed doors so I'm not taking marriage advice from anyone I've never met.

Re: "Inside My Heart" by Robin McGraw

This thread was started as a fun chat about Robin McGraw's book. It is not meant for a debate about her or her family. I would appreciate it if all comments and posts be kept to those interested in reading her book. If you are not interested in her book, then don't post. If you don't like her or her family, don't post -- this is not the correct thread for that -- this is not a debate thread and I didn't create it to be one.

If anyone wants to debate a subject, they need to post a separate thread. That way those who are like-minded can post together.

                  Thank you.

For what it is worth, Kkat.

I ordered the book and am looking forward to reading it.
