Does anyone else just LOVE this author??

I read THE NOTEBOOK and THE WEDDING during our vacation and soon as I got back home, I went to Walmart and bought every one of his other books!

Right now, I'm nearly 2/3rd of the way through A BEND IN THE ROAD and its fabulous!

I'm not a huge reading fan, but I will definitely take the time to read everything he writes!

Yup I love him! I haven't read all of his books yet, but I read whichever ones become available at the library. FYI, the books are way better than the movies. The movie version of A Walk to Remember didn't bear much resemblance to the book. So far I've read A Walk to Remember, The Notebook, The Guardian, A Bend in the Road, Nights in Rodanthe and The Rescue. Hmmmm, looks like I'm only missing a couple. Heee.

I love his books! I bought all I could find when I was home in Phoenix summer 2005. The Guardian ripped my heart out - I cried and cried and cried some more.
Thats the sign of an awesome writer.
I like the ones that can make me laugh out loud - Sandra Hill is a great Romance writer. Makes me laugh hard.

I love to read Nicholas Sparks when I'm in the mood for a good cry.

Have you guys ever read Suzanne's Diary to Nicholas? OMG, I cried for hours.

The Wedding was awesome too. I loved the surprise.

                    Re: Nicholas Sparks Books

Ohhhhhhh, I love his books!! You know, I'm really a Stephen King (years ago -- he's too weird now), Dean Koontz, John Grisham, Patterson reader. I like to be scared. Never got into the "romance" stuff.

Then about four years ago I read Message in a Bottle. That was the BEST BEST BEST book I ever read. I since read the Rescue and I think The Guardian. (did that have the great dane??) Anyway, I just love his books. Saw the movie for Notebook and loved that too. So now I need to read the book.

Alas, I do love to read but do not make the time as I wish I would. Maybe this will make me pick one up.

I'm feeling all dewy and sappy now !!!!!!!!!

Hi, I love Nicholas too! I cried my eyes out to a walk to remember! And even more to the Guardian since I'm a huge dog lover!!

I'm a huge fan of Janet Evanovich - brilliant Plum series!! I also love Jane Green, Adele Parks, Lisa Jewel, Sophie Kinsella and Jilly Cooper - I dont know if you can get the latter authors in the US!! I'm a bit of a "chick lit" reader really!! I normally have 3 books on the go at once!! one at home, one in the office and one on audio in the car!!! At the moment I'm reading Spellbound - Jane Green, Wicked - Jilly Cooper and Alphabet Weekends - Elizabeth Noble.

Does anyone else listen to audio books?? I love them, I'm in the car for 40 mins each way to work every day so they're great as I get fed up with music.

Terry - let me know what you thought of a devil wears prada - I read it on a flight back to the UK in February and wasnt that impressed with it - it was an ok read, but I can't see how they've made a film out of it!!

I'm trying to get hold of the ones I've not read on audiobook - but I don't know if I'll be able to listen on the way to work - I'll end up with tear stained make-up!! hehe!!
