  • who whould have thunk it? Or what took so long?

Who whould have thought we would spend time watching cooking on TV?
Who would have thought we would watch weather on TV?

On the other note, who would have tought it would taken so long to figure our that tampons needed to come in diffrent gradients, heavy, medium or low?

Why did it take so long to figure out that it is great to have select a size paper towels?

Another thing the young people around will not even remember. Remember back in the 70s, I believe, when there was the "Tylenol Scare? For those who are too young or don't remember. back then some ******* inserted some, I believe was cyanide in some tylenol caplets in a store and either killed some people or made some people very sick. This is the reason to this day that everything is safety silled.

Another thing, who would have thought we could just go to the internet to find any information we wanted. Back when I was raising children you had to have enclopedias to research a topic, which back then was big bucks. Do encloypedias even still exist? Do parents still purchase "World Book?

I'm sure I'll come up with other perplexing things, but this is my start.

Another thing, why did it take so long for them to invent upsidedown ketchup or any condiments, for that matter.

the tylenol scare was in 1982.

we just got squeeze jelly in norway a few years back and recently we now have cake "mixes" in the stores. la la la we are catching up with the rest of the world.

Who would have thought that someone would invent a calculator and some fool mathematician would convince, (The People) that if the little kiddes could punch in the numbers on the calculator it was the same as learning how to add, subtract, multiply, etc. I think it was right after that when they tried to get back on track but the track would have many directions and they all went to the same place. This time they tried to convince us that if little Suzy said 4+4=10 then that was alright because she got all the steps right. Either way the little kiddies lost but we all had warm fuzzy feelings.

Remember when they tried to foist the idea that if you could spell phonetically then that was alright because you had the main idea... No it wasn't alright you never learned to spell correctly.

EDIT And by the way I would like to kick the butt of the guy that came up with the idea of WARM FUZZY FEELINGS. That one really screwed up my life during the early seventies. I thought the only way to get a warm fuzzy fuzzy feeling was to get high on drugs, not work, hitch-hike all over, and have lots of promiscuous sex. The only time I got a warm fuzzy feeling then was when I caught something from all the free love. Two shots of penicillin at the Free Clinic would cure that warm fuzzy feeling if I remember correctly.

          I couldn't imagine life without post-it notes.
