I'll admit I have always loved him.
I love his music. Several years ago, it was on the local news that he was flying in to our tiny little airport that night and that we could go meet him as he departed from the plane. Well, me shy, and the way I was thinking I wasn't worthy, thinking I wasn't good enough, didn't go. The following night on the news, they showed him getting off the airplane...with EIGHT people greeting him with hand made signs! I felt so bad I didn't go. I could have met him and talked to him!

I can't help it, I sat and listened to a 3 set of his CD's last night, and it just brought back so many memories! This isn't so much about Barry I guess (though I still think he's handsome), but about the things you think about when you hear something that takes you back to a time when things were so much eaiser. No bills to pay, no weight to lose, just you and your favorite music that you used to sit and listen and dream to. I think maybe the women will understand that more than the men, but who knows, I'm not a man, so maybe they did that kind of thing when they were young too. One of my favorites is When October Goes.

Rich, that was like 20+ years ago! I don't have it any more! At the time, it wasn't so much because I loved Barry as it was the fact that I was having a contest with a classmate to see who could write a poem faster about something off the wall. I won. Everyone knew how much I loved Barry!

Barry is on TV in Norway right now - some kind of concert or special - man can he sing! The songs he's singing, I'm like omg I love this song! I didn't know half this stuff was his - what an amazing man. Truely Amazing. And rather handome too
