Has anyone else been having food nightmares? I have these suckers about 3 nights a week. Usually I'm having dinner with someone, and I start eating, not really noticing too much, and I look down at my plate only to be horrified. Oh no! Seems I've eaten half a plate of frenchfries, or a brownie sundae, or some other frightening food without realizing it. I panic at that moment, totally freak out in the dream. I usually begin to cry, knowing I'll have to start induction again, and knowing I'll have the induction flu for even LONGER! Thankfully, I wake up a couple minutes after I've started panicing.

These are really annoying, since I don't even want the food I'm dreaming about.

I don't know why I keep having them...I don't have cravings, I don't go to bed hungry...I'm not an overly anxious person, either.

Does anyone else have food nightmares?

I used to have those dreams about using drugs after I quit. Sometimes I still do. Isnt it amazing the relief you have when you wake up?

Goodness! Poor you! To dream about falling off the wagon really would be a nightmare. Can't say I've ever had that, thank heavens!

This problem is not actually uncommon. When you pick up a good habit or drop a bad one your mind does that. If I don't exercise for a few days I have a dream where I'm running or at the gym. And I used to dream that I was cheating on my diet. Weird, but a relief to wake up and realize it wasn't real.

I have heard it shows how deep your commitment or decision goes into your subconsiousness. I dreamed of eating ice cream during the second week of induction. I knew what was going on and couldn't stop myself from eating it. I don't even dig ice cream!

Jack, I have had post-drug use dreams too. I have to admit they were much harsher than the ice cream dream. much harsher *shudders*

Yup..just had one the other night. Stuffed myself with bagels. Took me a little bit after I woke up to realize it had been a dream and that I hadn't cheated.

              Nasty dreams
