Believe me...it's scary to know that there are like 15 rapists in a 5 mile area surrounding my place of work. But in a way, I don't mind knowing because I'm more on my guard when I'm here.

You know it seems to me that if we can put the pics of missing children up in Walmarts, K-marts, grocery stores, etc then why couldn't we put the pics of these monsters up in the same places. It would keep them away from these places where children are present at all times.

Yep, I know it ain't politically correct(Screw that) but it just seems like the smart thing to do. Why not put up these goobers pics in the schools where the kids can get a look at them. Oh I forgot it might cause a nightmare or two, good then the kid will run away faster.

My wife is an elementary counselor and there is a house about a mile from the school where 3 of them live together. It drives her crazy driving by the house each day.

It's funny you should say that since I just found out there is l in my neighborhood, guess where it says he is employed.....Walmart! So yes he is there where kids are running around without their parents a lot of times. Who would have thunk?

I am with Miss Phode, these people have a super high recidivist rate. I also know it is harsh and you don't won't to take anyone's job but if it saves just one kid from being molested then that is a good thing.

Just the other day this giant goober raped a little kid in his hospital bed in my town. He was a food worker and he was taking the kid some Ice Cream. The big point is he had a record a mile long in this state and others. So when it comes to these people...No Mercy!

That is awful. I have always been leary about hospitals, I mean you are there in rooms sleeping no locks on the doors anyone can come in and out. Kinda freaky when you think about about it. Glad they caught that guy!

I have a neighbor who works for the lovely corrections center, aka: prison, and keeps me up to date on our local yocals that have infractions (minor and major). Thankfully we keep the kids around the neighborhood traveling in packs.

Sex offender is all offenses not just child molestation.(just to clarify it looked liked the conversation was headed that way). You need to click on the pushpin, then click on the profile of the guy to see what he was convicted for.

We have some close but not too close. But one live literally right next door to my MIL, and she lives alone. I told my wife but we won't tell her mom, she's worries too much already and she already distrusts the people in that building.

Gosh - that site is alarming! The only address I knew to plug in was Beverly Hills 90210, and all the little red markers just popped up!! OMG!!

I dont think we have such a register to look on for the UK, but my brother-in-law had a problem when his family moved into their new rented house - they used to get alot of small children coming to the house and asking for "john"!! They told them all they had only just moved in and that "john" had moved. They later found out that he was a known paedophile and had been moved out of the house as he was getting harrassment from people in the area that found out about him, but the alarming part was all these small children knocking asking if he was home. People like that need locking up for good!!
