Phobias??

    Phobias??

    Hi

    What phobias do we all have??

    At the moment there's a huge spider in my tv room downstairs, sat on my curtain - it was there this morning, so I left the curtains drawn and went to work!! I didn't think he'd still be there when I got in this evening!! The result being, I made my dinner and brought it to bed as chief spider catcher (hubby) is working away!! hehe!

    I didn't used to be scared, but in my new house the spiders all seem to have been on steroids or something - they're all ginormous!!

    My equally as bad phobia is snakes - I can't even look at them on the TV!! I would love to visit Thailand, but I read on one sight that a snake had fallen from a tree onto a sunbather!!! Lets say all the Thailand brochures went straight in the bin!

    Twisters.

    Not sure why. I have twister (tornado) dreams once a week it seems. Its not the storm itself that scares me its when I see the twister in the distance. lol. I am a weirdo!

    2nd: Drugs. I know this sounds relly crazy but since I was 18 and had a fe horrible experiences with drugs that affected me way worse than anyone else I have a phobia or an "altered state of perception" My worst nightmare would be someone secretly slipping me acid or something. I would completely wig out, probably end up in an institution somewhere. Its so bad that sometimes, when drinking just a beer and I can feel slightly buzzed, it scares me and it causes intense anxiety. So I cant drink anymore either.

        I have nightmares about my teeth falling out...but I don't know what it means because this isn't a phobia of mine...



        So I guess a phobia would be....

        Ghosts, I'm afraid of ghosts...Just moved into a new house...know the whooole history of it...yep, I'm scared it's haunted...I hope not, but some strange "stuff" has occurred...

          Spiders....I had one on my windshield a couple of weeks ago (on the inside) i nearly drove off the road, I couldn't look at the road i was too busy staring at the spider to make sure i knew where it was and didn't end up on me. I had to pull over and knock it off the windshield and out of the truck before i was in an accident. which was not easy to do!

            Oooow I had a similar incident with a white faced hornet right on my rearview! I almost killed myself trying NOT to get stung...I feel your pain!

                  I have that nightmare quite often also. In mine my teeth don't just fall out they kind of crumble into my hands.

                  My phobia is a whopper since it is fear of enclosed places this keeps me out of airplanes, boats, elevators, small public bathrooms; anywhere I feel I could get tapped or lose control over getting out of. Even heavy traffic which is a burden for a lot of people is a serious panic attack for me.

                    I am scared to death of coming down a ladder. Going up I am fine, but my legs get all jello-y when I come down. I am also afraid of swinging bridges ( you know the kind with no support) I guess I have the fear that it is going to break. *shudders at the bridge thought*

                      OOOh I am also afraid of ghosts. Not sure why but after watching unsolved mysteries or anyother show that had true ghost stories I get freaked out and when Im walking down the hall to my room I have to run and jump on the bed like a little kid, haha.

                          creatures in the ocean and water deeper then I can touch bottom. We took the ferry across to Newcastle and the whole time I was telling myself that the water was only 4 feet deep and had only one nice beluga whale swimming around somewhere (I love beluga whales).

                              I just can't go upstairs when it's not "closed" and all that stuff. You know what I mean?

                              And oh my god, I lived on the 13th floor for a year! I never went too close to the window!!!
