Mouse or No Mouse

Just was reading a post from Korelis where in in siggy it says
"Mouse? I don't need no stinkin mouse!" So tell me who does use a mouse and who doesn't.

I am pretty efficient on a computer, can type well and know my way around it but take away my mouse and its like I forget everything. I think my brain just is overworked when I have to worry about working that dang fingerpad thing.

How about you? Do you prefer to work with or without a mouse on the computer (assuming you have a laptop that is)?

I use a mouse if I use a laptop...that touch pad is a pain in the butt!

I LOVE the touch pad on my old laptop! Gave it to my little sister for graduation this year and she loves it too I prefer it to the whole mouse thing. Sometimes I wish I had that at work where I have a wireless mouse...nothing worse that surfing the ADBB when the boss walks by and my mouse decides to eat the batteries for lunch! Thank goodness for Alt+Tab!!!

On my linux servers that I am working on at the moment - there is no mouse.... Even within Windows, I am more apt to be a keyboard jockey than use a mouse.

I prefer to use the mouse, i hate it when having to use a laptop as I cant work that finger pad thing that easily at all.

I cant stand mouses! (or is it mice? lol) I only ever use my laptop, but in my last job, I was trained to operate the computer without a mouse, so I tend to only use the mousepad if I'm highlighting something anyway. I prefer to flick through the windows with the alt+tab. tab really is my best friend lol

Without the mouse I would get no further than turning it on and that goes for my two laptops.

Yeah, I agree with Kent...being a former Unix/Linux admin I never use a mouse on those systems. Windows...ya gotta...

I don't use a mouse on my laptop. i love the touch pad. i had an older IBM with the little button a while back and I hated it, so i got attached to the pad.
