I'm not sure if any exist anymore. I just use my mobile cause they're included in my text bundle.
If you know what network that person is on, you could try sending them a text from that networks website. I know Verizon do it, but only to people on verizon. If anyone is interested in this, all you need to do is make an email account up at www.lycos.co.uk (its totally free), and you will instantly get 2 free international text messages a day, I think if you live in the UK you get additional text allowances to text UK mobiles!
