What does your voice sound like?

Me...I'm soft-spoken and sound (I'm told) like I'm 12... ROTFL. Although, if I get mad, my voice is quite loud and booming. If I'm nervous, I'm high pitched and giggly.

So what does your voice sound like?

I have an english accent. Quite softly spoken I think. But I have never talked to myself.

I would imagine that every one of you could guess this....but my voice is loud. I have to remember to tone it down. My voice comes straight up out of my diaphragm. It's a pleasant voice, but it's louder more booming than most people's voices.

1. I have an awesome phone voice when I'm fund-raising or soliciting votes for an upcoming bond.

2. I am from the mid-west, so when I'm not working the phone voice I sound like Laverne DeFazzio

Actually now you come to mention it. Miss Phode has a very deep voice, she actually sounds a lot like Arnold Swarzenigger (sp)

I can be very professional, confident and educated sounding (when I want)...

and when I'm nagging Tim to do the dishes he says I can sound like a cheese grater on his ears...LOL!

I always wanted to be a telephone operator but I have no idea what my voice sounds like. I do know when I'm recorded singing or speaking and I hear a replay I'm not pleased.

He actually sounds like Antonio Banderas, which is really strange, because Antonio is spanish.

Cleo--I'm a midwestern girl, too, but I have tried to tone down my "accent" my whole life.

My voice is pretty energetic, with sudden bursts of volume if I'm telling a joke or saying something funny. I like to do impressions of people, and I've been told I have a good phone voice--my friend made me record his answering machine message for his DJ/Audio biz because he thought I sounded like a "professional." He probably meant "prostitute."

I am actually quite shy, so I have to work hard to speak up in uncomfortable situations.

When I'm in front of a class--I am loud, happy, full of energy. When a kid is in trouble, I switch to an eerily quiet and calm voice, which really freaks 'em out!
