Some of you may have heard my Mom was diagnosed with lung cancer a few weeks ago. She immediately went in for surgury and they removed most of her right lung.
Well..... she announced at dinner Thanksgiving she was given a clean bill of health. No chem, no radation........ she is clean. This woman has survived breast cancer, lung cancer and many other challenges. AND........ she came through the surgury like a kid. Seeing she is 80........ We are all so thrilled.
She is my role model. I only wish to be as strong as she is.Bren

I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

Oh Bren, I am so happy for you and for Mom. Lung cancer is the scariest of cancers and your Mom is very very lucky they found it early when still treatable. Hugs to your whole family

Bren Congratulations to your mom and the doctors who preformed the surgery. They obviously got it all. Cherish every moment with her that is for sure. Dang parental units, they get under our skin when we are young, and then we want them back there when they are gone.
