    Anybody else not feel like working today?



    Yes, it's Friday. And, I don't feel like working today. Happens every now and then when I'm pretty well caught up.

    I have a million other things I'd like to be doing right now. But, I thought I'd see who else just feels like calling it a day!

    No, I definitely do not feel like working today. It is so cold and blustery here. I would have preferred to stay snuggled under my blankets!

      I took today off from work!! hehe!!!

      Plus I'm off next Friday!! hehe

      I think I could very easily work 4 days a week - but then would I feel the same about Thursdays???

        Unfortunately, I'm at acustomer site in North Carolina...so not much of a choice...since they're paying for me to be here...Grrrr!!

          Work?! Oh yeah, I remember what work is!!! I used to be out in the work force wishing I wasn't and now I'm not wishing I were!

          I'd like a job where I can talk with people all day long in english.

          I don't get to talk to many people, just these dang that hang around the valley.

            After my last final yesterday, I informed my husband that I would be taking today off for mental reasons; of course, that's also known as, "Don't ask me to do anything I don't want to do". He just laughed and walked away. Ha! I'll show him.

            SO, I took the day off.

                Well, ya gotta take a break... I've been doing this stuff that is mentally exhausting, and my hadn hurts from all the signing and dating....so ya need a break every hour or so....at least that's what I tell myself. LOL!

                  I was tired today, and really felt like taking a nap...luckily Fridays are my "easy" schedule...only half the classes...could have been worse...there are some days that I'm teaching that I really think I could be speaking swahili to a group of pigeons and have more of an effect...but kids are allowed their "off" days too I suppose LOL.

                        Day off? I didn't get it, but as soon as work and school were over...I totally checked out. In fact, I am not sure what has happened between then and now. To be honest, I am seriously burned out and about ready to hurt someone if they give me any attitude. Ever have one of those periods where you feel life decided it was your turn to wear the target, especially when you have absolutely nothing to do with the assaults and wonder why you are drawing them?? Almost like eveeryone has you mixed up with some other person. Like their lips are moving differently than the words coming from them...There must be a serious rupture in the space-time continuum and I was the patch that got used.

                              ALRIGHT, dangit! Who knocked this whole thread all the way into MONDAY??!?? @$%(%#)(% Seem's like it was just Friday, and I definately don't want to work today! Too much still to do at the house. Darn Holiday events and shows ate my whole weekend. No one should have to work in December!
