The saddest thing about being on Atkins..

is that if I were invited to Willie Wonka's chocolate factory I wouldn't be able to join in the magical fun.

That is too funny that you mentioned that, my kids are watching the original as I type. They liked the new one too, and keep asking if we can buy it.

Lol way to turn a negative into a positive!

Jroche: The new one is just plain creepy, if you buy it you risk damaging your children's ability to fit into society.

DW and I both loved that movie growing up and went to theaters to see the new one. We were actually pretty sad about it and promised to only let our kids see the old version (or read the book of course!).

The new version is much truer to the book!

And it's SUPPOSED to be creepy...Willy Wonka is a creep, the kids (with the exception of Charlie Bucket) are creeps, the world is creepy. I love the new version!

The saddest thing about being on Atkins..seeing others in my extended family on low-fat (high sugar) diets and hearing them complain about how hungry they are. It is sad, but then they won't listen either! One day they will

The only thing I get sad about is throwing out the pizza crusts after I devour the top...used to be one of my favorites, especially slightly burnt.
