Re: Creative Writing - Week 1
(A FICTIONAL STORY)
It was a blustery weekend morning outside and I could hear and feel the window shutters flapping a bit with the winds flowing through my flat. The curtains were flowing in and out of the windows gently and I could hear the wind slightly howling and also the misty rain sprinkling on the road outside.
Another day for me to think about doing my morning jog. I made a pact with myself to always exercise, no matter what external or environmental conditions may come my way. I gently rolled out of bed and put my feet on the floor whilst sitting on the edge of the bed. I quietly stretched my limbs and trunk and with my arms waay up over my head. I turned around to see my husband still sound asleep.
I went into the bathroom to splash cold water on my face and dried it gently with the hanging towel. I walked over to my bedroom wardrobe and found my favourite pair of size 10 sweat pants and also my tank top and put them both on. My runners were on the floor next to the bed and so I put those on as well. I tied my long hair back into a ponytail and placed my walkman into its place on my waist and put the headphones on.
I was ready to go ...finally.
After a few minutes of stretching outside, I was now ready to starting moving. I planned to jog about 40 minutes outside -- and so I did just that. While I was jogging I had quite a few looks by men passing by but I just kept my cool and with my eyes glancing at the ground and straight ahead.
I thought to myself: "I would never have been able to do this, had I not lost 60 pounds already. I must keep going until I am completely at a healthy weight."34 yr old Female
