    A stupid rant

    I dont know even why this bugged me but it did, We were watching the news this am and they were showing the clean up in Florida. They were showing in one area how a church was having services and this town was coming together to get cleaned up. Great! But then they show inmates from a local prision working and cleaning up, also great. Then this dim witted reported begins to spout about how wonderful it is of the inmates to be helping and how kind hearted ect ect. Isnt it great they would donate their time to help the comunity that houses them and on and on she went. What makes her think these men had a choice.

    OK now that I typd it it sounds stupid maybe you just needed to see it.

    That's really asinine that she said that. I agree with you. It's great to see the community/county pulling out all resources, but those guys didn't vote on it, know what I mean? lol

        You're absolutely right. Most inmates wouldn't have lifted a finger if they weren't ordered to do so or perhaps being paid for it. Most...not all.

          Seems like the station was scraping the bottom of the barrel when they hired her. Sheesh! My rant with inmates (yeah, I'm hijacking this thread) is that inmates around here get HBO and other luxuries on tax payers' money. They should be doing more things to help the community to earn their free rent & utilities. Grrrr!
