What did you all think? I was at a superbowl party where everyone except myself and my friends husband ended up in the other room playing poker. We stuck it out and watched the game, but couldn't get excited about it.

Even the commercials were a little off.

I guess I should say I liked the half time show. I thought Prince was awesome. Who else would have gotten out there in the rain and performed so well. His guitar playing was tight and his voice sounded great. And he didn't fall down. Not even once!

I thought it was worth watching just for the halftime show...The crowd of guys at our party are not prince fans at all (mostly country music fans) and even they were really impressed which says alot.

As for the game, there were about 20 ppl at the party, maybe 1 or 2of them was a NFL fan...we just have a superbowl party for the party part. Everyone pays attention at the end of each quarter because we have a pool that's based on the score at the end of each..so it's jsut to see who's winning the $$. . Most of my husband and his friends are CFL (canadian football league) fans and don't really watch much NFL...

My hubby won money for the first two quarters of the game (family fun pool, not bookie stuff) so that was the only thing that made it interesting. Somehow I got nominated to run out for the making of smores during halftime so I missed that.

As a huge non-Colts fan Sorry Betty...It annoyed me...plus, after the first quarter it got pretty boring.

I rooted for the colts over the bears since Payton Manning is a local, along with a couple of LSU graduates. Plus the bears did beat my saints!

I'd join in on the conversation to keep you company but I didn't watch the game. I know the Bears were playing and becuase of Betty's post I remembered that the Colts were playing but I still am not even sure who won.

I was just very happy for Tony Dungy .. when he was in Tampa, he was let go in a very cruel way .. the man is ALL CLASS .. and I am so happy he'll be sportin' a superbowl ring!

Yes, Peyton Manning won the BIG ONE ! And that previously much-maligned defense of the COLTS has finally earned the respect of the league!

Nobody picked the Colts to win it all .. ya just never know!
