    Happy Silly Commercial Con Day!

    Thats a message I have just received on my phone from my gf. We have exchanged cards this morning, but I thought that was an amusing message. I mean, its all commercial clap trap isnt it. Why do we need to be told to be romantic on a certain day?

    Surely we should be romantic every day?

    I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

      I think it's kinda funny. I mean, people are like, show BF that you love him by buying lingerie... ok, well, I do that pretty frequently anyway, or by cooking him dinner (he's the cook), or by sending him a card that says it (I do that once every few weeks or whenever I see a nifty card that reminds me of him)... and then they get frustrated because I shoot down their ideas since I already do them daily... I guess I'm weird or something where I still tell BF I love him at least once a day and know what's going on with him and everything....

      Anyway, commercialism rules, don't you know this? You're supposed to buy more More MORE!!

            I can't stand the commercialism of any holiday really. I was at a store yesterday, that had Easter wreaths to hang on your door (a circle of pastel coloured eggs), and easter trees and decorations. Oh come on now...give me a break! That is really going too far

            We buy each other a small gift for valentines day..but that's it. we don't make a huge deal out of it. his was a pair of pj's that he needed desparately and i was going to buy him anyway, and a prime rib dinner... I didn't even get him a card
